- FEI Systems provides SaaS platforms to different states allowing them to better monitor the elderly and those with developmental handicaps so they can help them stay in their homes rather than moving into an institutional setting.

Company is one of the largest financial institutions in the United States and is therefore subject to frequent audits, both financial and procedural. Serving on the team that ensures DS0D compliance.
BACKGROUND
- Wells Fargo is one of the largest financial institutions in the United States. Hired on as a contractor for an Agile Business Analyst role. The contract was long-term and 100% remote to include post-COVID.
KEY PROJECT
- DSoD Analyst– A mission-critical aspect of Wells Fargo, like any financial institution, in to ensure Developer Segregation of Duties (DSoD) due to internal and external audit requirements. In simple terms, this ensures that a Developer can never deploy their own code to the network. In reality this involves the creation and tracking of dozens of User Stories, and accompanying Test Scripts, with every application within the Wells Fargo ecosphere and communicating with every group that has access to any network as an Admin.

♦ United States Advanced Network (USAN), Business Analyst July 2019- March 2021
Company is responsible for the Inbound (customer calls the Client) and Outbound (Client calls the customer) for payment. Served as the lone BA for the outbound side until being laid-off due to COVID-related company issues.
BACKGROUND
- Primarily responsible for supporting the “Dialer” project, where the Client is calling the Customer via automated services, typically for collections. The documentation is a set of massively detailed Visio flowcharts, some spanning more than 400 pages.
- The main challenge was that for Inbound(the majority of their portfolio) the Client provides a detailed set of Functional Requirements specifying what they want. On Dialer, it was more like to be 2-3 sentences, thus requiring the BA to interpret that sparse feedback into usable specifications on a tight timeline.
KEY PROJECT
- Dialer Outbound– The Dialer Outbound project is responsible for a sizable portion of the Client’s revenue via USAN. The Visio flow describing this process addresses database tables, Host transaction, processing patches and every possible path through the flow.

- Contract Senior BA for a leading luxury vehicle manufacturer at their US Corporate Offices
- Critical path of assigned duties is to reverse-engineer old legacy systems in order to document them sufficiently for Project Management decisions to be reached based on reliable analysis. This includes researching out-of- date Dev materials, conducting interviews with long-term team members, and working with the systems directly.

- PPM Migration– Responsible for authoring the BRD for the updated version of their primary Sales and Ordering platform. This includes creating the “Current State” documentation for several legacy systems currently in use to provide HQ a clear idea of the current situation and the best ways to migrate the US to the global suite of applications

Contracted on a corp-to-corp basis to gather requirements and conduct JAD sessions at mill locations. Later negotiated a switch from W2 to 1099 status in order to complete the critical project on time and under budget through my own consultancy. Still maintain communications with the client in case changes are required.

- Developing complete Business Requirements Document for mission-critical application responsible for managing all Alloy Specifications within the company, including 27 plants around the world, on a very tight schedule.

- Alloy Spec Management System– Tasked with leading the requirements gathering process for new application that was to be the central alloy specification repository for all 27 plants around the world. Conducted JAD sessions with SMEs at a plant in upstate New York as well as other resources around the world, all remotely.

Joined Roper’s Rail TMS service as the first Business Analyst brought on by the firm and remained the only one for four years, when I was assigned to train Junior Analysts. Responsible for creating several major functionalities in the toolset, including “Rate and Pay” and “Rule 11 Invoicing”.
BACKGROUND
- Lead Business Analyst (Rail), in charge of creating documentation formats for Business Requirements, User Stories, GUI Designs and Business Requirement/Functional Requirement standards in both Waterfall and Agile environments

Team size was about 8 people, including an offshore DEV team. Rate and Pay is now a major sales tool for the company.
- TRONOX Migration– A legacy application was sunsetted and there was no documentation from it available to move the clients to GVP. As a result, it was required to go thru the original SQL code and determine what the application was doing on the backend of the old system and document it.

Joined the State DOT on a short-term contract and was repeatedly extended to almost four years. Assigned the more complex projects due to the confidence upper management had in me based on prior performance. Trained other Business Analysts as needed.

Application became the most complex in GDOT history, covering more than 400 pages of reqs, screens, data definitions and flow diagrams
- Crash Analysis and Reporting System (CARS)– Senior BA on multi-million dollar initiative to gather timely and reliable statistical information on traffic accidents. Role included ideation, stakeholder JAD sessions, creation of User Stories and BRDs, screen design, and testing.

Hired as an employee in June 2001 as a Business Analyst. After about six months myself and most of the Dev staff were released and the work sent offshore. 2-3 months later this plan was abandoned. Myself and select others were brought on as contractors. A Graphic Artist and myself designed the interface for Indus’ final product release as a company. Company is now defunct.
